Sky Tiger - sold
48 x 48” acrylic on wood panel
from '“The Gifts They Bring” series
A great horned owl on the hunt. These owls were once called flying tigers due to their stripes and hunting prowess.
Great horned owls protect our crops including our orchards by preying on small vertebrates. They help to keep these populations in balance and reduce the need for pesticides. Pesticide usage is not only detrimental to humans, it’s deadly to the great horned owl. Slow pesticide sickened animals make easy prey passing the ingested poison on to the great horned owl and other predators. Please don’t use rodenticides, and other poisons, even in your home.
