CONSULT - DESIGN - CREATE
STEP ONE - CONSULT
We have an in depth conversation to identify what type of painting will best meet your needs.
Topics such as size, budget, theme, style, setting, message and colors are covered.
When we have completed a successful consultation in which you believe we have achieved a mutual understanding of the painting you are looking for,
a 50% deposit is made. This allows the design process to begin and secures a time slot for your painting on the studio calendar.
STEP TWO- DESIGN
I integrate all of our ideas and your needs into a cohesive design for your custom painting.
The design process takes into consideration, not only your chosen color palette, imagery and theme, but also the meaning of your painting and the planned setting for your painting.
We review the design of your painting and you give it a final approval before the studio work begins.
STEP THREE - CREATE
I create your painting. All paintings begin with a sketch on wood panel. They are then painted and go through the many steps that bring us to the completed painting.
This is a time and labor intensive process. A single painting can take from two to six weeks.
Depending on the studio schedule and the level of detail in the painting, sometimes rush orders are a possibility.
I send you images of the finished work of art and upon your approval; your painting is delivered to you.
